This pair of Claddagh earrings are made from 14 karat gold using an imaginative combination of white gold & rose gold within a yellow gold frame. These earrings are for pierced ears and use a leverback system with a hinge that flips up over the stem and presses against the back of the ear to hold the earring in place.The Claddagh is a traditional Irish design originating in Galway and takes its name from the ancient fishing village of The Claddagh.
